This is the perfect book for an afternoon at the beach or in front of a fireplace on a rainy day, with a cognac in hand.

A New Ending is a classic page turner that does not disappoint. The evening I started reading the book, I could not put it down. Just one more page, then I’ll go to sleep, I kept telling myself. Not good when you have to wake up early for work.

This book is unique in that it combines time travel with romance in a plausible, easily to follow way. Mysticism also plays a part in the story which adds to the intrigue. Care was obviously taken to make sure the book was historically accurate, which makes A New Ending a more intelligent read.

The book’s characters are vivid and well defined. The vileness Viola, is a deliciously evil, yet sexy character. Rachel and Allen are obviously destined to be with one another. Their relationship is hot and intense.

The author has taken good care to see that the segments of A New Ending that happen in the past, have a well defined, aristocratic atmosphere appropriate to the "Jolly Old England" of the era.

Anyone who has been, or wants to be in love can relate to their plight and will thoroughly enjoy this book.

Should be made into a film.

This was my first time reading a travel romance and I am not a big fan of time travel but there was something about A New Ending. I loved it and I cannot wait for more books from my new favorite author Alyssa Dean Copeland! Great Job! I'm hoping a new ending becomes a movie!! Proud of you!! )
This book had me hooked. I've never read a book that threw me by complete surprise as this book did. I was glued to it the entire time and by the end I was so caught up in the story, I was moved to tears. Tears of Joy of course. I would recommend everyone to read this book. Its very easy to read and you will fall in love with it and the characters just as I have!
I enjoy reading time travel books! This book was cleaver, the author's research was complex and well developed. I recommend this book for discussions in book clubs especially about the comparison of the time periods.
The book is an easy read, with a nuance of real love-life problems with a twist of historical romance. It is well written and kept you turning the pages to find out what happens next. Can't wait for the next book and see how the villain turns out hopefully to be the heroic figure.
I struggled with the schoolgirl Rachel at the begunning, but I'm glad I did not give up on her. Rachel seems best outside her comfort zone and in the past. The author captures how we tend to get caught up in our silly daily emotions that we miss the best of ourselves, and how such blindness perpetuates the roadblocks to our future.

Knowing the creative process, collaboration and work that has gone into this book makes me look forward to future experiences with James Bryant and Nic found in the past.
This was a great book! I finished reading this book awhile ago and picked up the author's second book, Beginning Anew. I stopped to write this review because it deserves gracious feedback. Copeland's writing is excellent and keeps the audience wanting more. The setting, characters and overall story line is wonderful! I sincerely hope that Copeland continues writing, I will continue reading! I truly enjoyed reading this story!
